O’Connor Marketing’s CEO Open’s Up About His Travel Experiences
O’Connor Marketing’s CEO, Ronan O’Connor is a huge advocate for business travel. His busy schedule has recently seen him travel to his home country of Ireland and attend business engagements in Sydney and Melbourne within the last three weeks alone. With an additional trip to New York now also in the pipeline, O’Connor is showing no signs of slowing down and wants to make more people aware of how travel can help with professional and personal development.
A recent Brightpark Edu-Travel report found that 94 percent of business leaders believe that travel experience directly translates to a competitive advantage in the workplace. O’Connor Marketing’s CEO, Ronan fully agrees with the report’s findings and believes that travel can teach an individual valuable skills that may not otherwise be developed in a traditional setting.
Ronan is fascinated by the ways in which travel can teach young and established entrepreneurs vital business skills and attributes the success of O’Connor Marketing to the vast national and international travel opportunities that they offer their workforce.
Business travel can help entrepreneurs acquire a broad range of transferable skills that can be applied to everyday life, regardless of the travel destination, and the importance of integrating this within an overall business strategy is something that Mr O’Connor is keen to highlight.
Many travelling entrepreneurs report that the ability to adapt, increased cultural awareness, better communication and time management, are just some of the skills they have been able to develop as a result of their extensive travel schedule.
The Sydney-based agency, O’Connor Marketing continue to develop their travelling ambitions and recently announced the details for their next trip. The firm will be going to this year’s American Sales and Marketing Awards ceremony, which is due to be held in New York in a few weeks time. CEO Ronan O’Connor says “We are thrilled to be invited to these prestigious awards in the US. This trip will be a fantastic opportunity for O’Connor Marketing to network with our peers and get a valuable insight into some of the current trends in the industry.”
